Autopatrol

[edit]
je souhaite pouvoir télécharger une version mise à jour des membres de File:World Trade Organization Members.svg fichier auquel j'ai déjà contribué Thank you. Kyat02 (talk) 18:39, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bonjour, J'ai activé l'écrasement de ce fichier. Malheureusement, 57 est trop bas et je ne peux donc pas vous l'accorder pour le moment (via goggle translate). Abzeronow (talk) 18:58, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am always uploading and vectorizing flag files that use raster graphics. I usually improve the Portuguese Wikipedia which has very few volunteers dedicated to the vexilology and heraldry part of Wikicommons. I am requesting autopatrol rights because I also want to fix broken/bad .svg files by uploading new versions of them instead of creating new files and replacing the old one's usage manually. Thank you. Feitidede (talk) 05:41, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, 100 is still too low, although it is better than when you requested this last month. I need at least 250 edits from you (500 is what the guideline says). You can make individual requests at COM:OWR in the meantime. Abzeronow (talk) 15:54, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I'm currently updating old photos and I'd like to have the permission to update those. If I understood well, requiring Autopatrol right would allow me to do so. Thank you! Thank you. Hapille (talk) 10:41, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, your edit count on Commons is far too low. Please reapply when you get closer to 500 edits. Abzeronow (talk) 16:18, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I now request autopatrol rights because I have made more than 500 edits. Thank you. Yuonn (talk) 07:40, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I would like to request autopatrolled. I was under the impression that I had this, as I've been able to overwrite images in the past. I presently have 630 edits here and over 15,000 cumulatively across Wikimedia projects. TheTechnician27 (talk) 06:41, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I find a lot of duplicate categories, I want to organize them. I think this permission will help me. I would also like to change the titles of some of the files I previously uploaded to make them more useful... Mounir Neddi (talk) 00:57, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mounir Neddi, what do you mean by I find a lot of duplicate categories, I want to organize them? If you're referring to categories, you can still organise files without having this right. You have also made zero rename requests. Ratekreel (talk) 06:59, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Ratekreel
For example, this ctegory should be moved to this category, because they express the same thing. There are many similar examples.
I didn't know that these requests could be made. But I have made other requests for deletion and other things that are not usually dealt with.
Thank you Mounir Neddi (talk) 09:10, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Mounir Neddi, I think you're at the wrong place. You can place {{Move}} on the category page to request it to be moved, if it's controversial. If it's not controversial, you can move the categories yourself. See Commons:Rename a category for details. In doing this, there's no need for filemover right. Ratekreel (talk) 13:54, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not done per Ratekreel. Regards, Aafi (talk) 14:12, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I regularly participate in Commons and often encounter technical issues with file names, for example, "File:LMC 20240524 192031 Color tone rttg .PORTRAIT.jpg." The renaming process takes considerable time, and although I’ve uploaded over 1.5K files, many still need to be renamed. I believe having the right to rename files directly would greatly improve my workflow. Thank you. Owais Al Qarni (talk) 02:17, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ratekreel and Aafi: I have submitted several rename requests like this in the past. Could you please check again? Why is your link showing as zero?Owais Al Qarni (talk) 08:44, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Owais Al Qarni, requests made manually like this aren't filtered. It is always recommended to use the "Move" button to request a rename, through RenameLink. I will still keep this request open to see if there are any concerns from others. Regards, Aafi (talk) 12:36, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, my bad. I was checking your contributions and found no "tagged rename requests". Anyway, I'm neutral to this request. --Ratekreel (talk) 13:22, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
