Category talk:Media with locations

Until category intersections are available, I don't see much use for adding file pages directly. It is useful as a parent category for hidden cats that track pages using location templates such as those from Commons:geocoding eg {tl|location}} and others (like {{Places by decade}} that emit microformat location data. -J JMesserly (talk) 17:28, 27 January 2009 (UTC)
